End of demolition celebration of nurses past and present
We held a small event to celebrate the history of the recently demolished nurses’ accommodation buildings and all the nurses who lived there.
Zebina Ratansi, director of nursing, and Alastair Finney, redevelopment director, were joined by many nurses with great memories of living in the accommodation who all still work at Whipps Cross hospital.
The nurses were presented with a commemorative brick taken from the buildings where they once lived.
The end of the demolition marks another important milestone towards the #FutureWhipps hospital.
