Designing your net-zero Future Whipps Cross Hospital
Adopting Operation TLC (Turning off equipment, switching off Lights, and Closing doors) at Barts Health NHS Trust resulted in significant savings by reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.
When designing the new hospital, we explored ways to further reduce the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) released into the atmosphere. This involved looking at the way the new Whipps Cross will be heated, cooled, and lit.
